Hi All I wondered if anyone could help me with my DAB and FM connections on my ford focus st mk3 (63 plate). I have installed a 3rd party headunit (kenwood). And when I first connected it up I could not get anything from the DAB connection using the white fakra.
There a strange fault on the Sony DAB radio. When I tune to Mux 11D (National DAB Mux) I intermittently get two different lists of radio stations. More often than not I get: Talksport. Test B. Jazz FM. Absolute. Classic. Planet Rock. BFBS. Smooth 70. Absolute 90. Absolute 80. UCB Christian. Test A. Premier Christian. Other times I get It's about 10 bolts to remove it and you could try reseating the connector. It is a locking connector so it's hard to imagine that it would work lose, but worth confirming. If this doesn't help, you could try connecting to your OBD port and using forscan to scan for all the modules in your car. You should see your APIM in the list of modules.

Posted September 2, 2014. To fit a DAB radio to your car you need the DAB aerial, base and associated wiring. You're best off getting all the bits from Ford to guarantee compatability. I did a guide for fitting one into a Focus but apart from the aerial all the other part numbers are very likely to be different.
